DELIVERY FUEL SURCHARGE 

Due to the ongoing situation in the Middle East, we are continuing to see a significant rise in global oil prices. As a result, all of our external carriers have increased their rates and introduced additional fuel surcharges. Alongside this, the cost of fuelling our own delivery vehicles has also risen sharply.

These are exceptional circumstances, and as fuel represents a major operational cost for any business involved in the distribution of goods whether via third party carriers or our own transport we must take steps to manage these increases.

Therefore, from Wednesday 1st April, a 1% fuel surcharge will be applied to all net orders, excluding goods collected directly from our trade counters.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely, and once oil prices begin to fall, this surcharge will be removed.

The surcharge will appear as a separate line on your invoice and will be applied in addition to any standard carriage charges where applicable.

We’re working together with our delivery partners to safely continue delivering products to our customers.

We are still despatching goods in line with our standard delivery promise (1-2 day delivery) and working hard with our courier partners to maintain the highest possible service level during this time.

Due to high demand on all UK couriers at this time we are finding the average delivery time is approx.48 hours from day of despatch, but this varies across the UK.

All orders over £150 Net will include a FREE of charge delivery to UK Mainland addresses (This does not include Scottish highlands and all UK islands).

Delivery will be made Mon-Fri during normal working hours.

All orders placed on weekends, public or bank holidays will not be despatched until the following normal working day.

Pallet Delivery Charges:

Pallet delivery charges are applicable with some items due to weight and size.

Please note: Whilst every endeavour is made to get your delivery to you, please do not prebook any installers or tradesman until your whole order has arrived and been checked. 

Our couriers do all in their power to deliver on time and on the day requested. However, on rare occasions there can sometimes be traffic or other issues out of our control that may delay the delivery. We ask our customers not to book any trades people until your order has safely arrived and in good condition.
