Alstom has been awarded contracts valued at more than €240 million (£206 million) to control emissions from flue accessories at several power plants.
The contracts will see the firm strive to reduce emissions at sites in Taiwan, Saudi Arabia and the US.
In Taiwan, Alstom has finalised a contracted from CTCI to supply air quality control systems for the MW coal-fired Linkou Renewal Power Plant.
As well as this, the firm's contract in Saudi Arabia will see Alstom supply boilers and air quality control equipment for the Ras Tanura integrated project.
Finally, its US contract means that the company will provide its Dry Flue Gas Desulphurization system to a joint venture between Kiewit Power Constructors Energy Co and Burns & McDonnell.
Andreas Lusch, senior vice-president of Alstom's Steam business, said: "We are seeing sustained growth in the environmental control systems business. These latest contracts desmonstrate the competitive edge of Alstom in the AQCS field, on a global scale."
