A collapsing chimney incident involving an 87-year-old may act as a warning to residents to ensure that chimney cowls are in a safe condition.
According to the Helensburgh Advertiser, Claris Burgess was "shocked" after strong gales threatened her safety and was handed temporary accommodation at Helensburgh's Abbeyfield Society's home, courtesy of Argyll and Bute Council.
This news comes after an incident last week, where a collapsed chimney in the Indian village of Janti Kalan took the lives of Bahar residents Thakur Bharti and Ranjit Yadav and injured Anoop Singh of Rathdhanna village.
The tragedy occurred when the three men were working to unload concrete from a truck, during their shift the chimney collapsed and killed Mr Bharti and Mr Yadav, while Mr Singh was immediately rushed to hospital, according to IBN Live.
