A chimney sweep from Whitby and his wife have collected an award for the van that they use when completing work on flue accessories.
Tony and Enid Gissing triumphed to win the national van of the year accolade for the fourth time, after their vehicle was more highly regarded than those of 11 other British businesses, reports the Whitby Gazette.
Mr Gissing told the newspaper: "We are proud to bring the award back to Whitby. We take pride in our work. We have been in the business for over 30 years now."
The couple collected their award at a two-day event in Sutton Coldfield last week, where they were also granted a £100 voucher and a shield.
Waterscape has reported that a new project managed by British Waterways will restore a chimney in Bath.
The structure is located at the Bath Flight of Locks and will be repaired thanks to a £50,000 funding package from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
