Subair UK Ltd revealed itself to be the buyer who paid £1,460 for a chimney in Wrexham and its flue accessories.
The firm purchased the Victorian chimney on Tuttle Street and is set to disclose plans for the structure next week. It is believed that the company will use their investment to offer aid for the Help for Heroes charity, reports the Daily Post.
Subair bought the chimney from former Wrexham MP Dr John Marek, who had owned the chimney for a total of 20 years.
Speaking to the newspaper about the transaction, Dr Marek said: "I think it is a good transaction and I am very confident it is in good hands and will continue to be an invaluable part of Wrexham’s heritage."
Previously, Dr Marek had told the Leader that he received a number of bids for the chimney.
Speaking to the news provider last month, he said that the structure's price had reached £820 after 45 bids were placed.
