A blaze in the American state of Dakota that started from flue accessories has caused severe damage to a property.
The property owner was able to vacate the house without sustaining any injuries and local fire fighters have applauded the work of neighbours in the area, according to ValleyNewsLive.com.
Wapheton fire chief Dale Rubish told the website: "On both ends of the block the hydrants were shovelled clean so that helped us greatly you don't have to find a hydrant and dig it out so it helps your response time."
Meanwhile, the Bournemouth Echo has reported that a chimney fire within Bournemouth inflicted has damage on two homes.
Two individuals were rushed to a local hospital after smoke from a blaze in a Long Crichel home travelled next door and caused significant floor and skirting board disrepair.
Fire chiefs spent more than two hours extinguishing the flames and returned later in the day to ensure there were not any hotspots.
