Fire fighters have battled a fire in Hertfordshire, after its flue accessories were set alight.
The crews travelled from Royston and Buntingford to attend the blaze, which happened in the Crown Inn pub that is situated within the town of Buntingford, according to RoystonWeeklyNews.co.uk.
A spokeswoman from Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service told the website: "Efforts were made to extinguish the flames. We used thermal imaging cameras to conduct examinations of the roof base and first floor."
This news comes after the East Anglia Daily Times reported that New Year's Eve was disrupted for occupants of the Bull pub near Bury St Edmunds, after a fire broke out at the property.
The blaze began in the building's chimney, which caused guests to rush outside ahead of their new year celebrations.
Peter Heath, a part-time barman at the pub, told the website that fire officials arrived at the pub "in no time" and dealt with the incident quickly.
