Clayemore School has upgraded its flue accessories with a new heating system, which was completed by Total Energy Services.

The fitting was finished in two stages using five Firebird oil-fired boilers, with the first installation being three linked Firebird Enviromax 44kW boilerhouse models to provide heating and hot water for the senior school classrooms block, according to H&V News.

Speaking to the news provider, John Smith from Total Energy Services said: "Our installation team undertook to complete the extensive work required in just five weeks, a critical timing factor which other contractors were unable to match."

Mr Smith stated that his team chose Firebird boilers because of their breadth of range, reliability and efficiency.

Elsewhere, the Tivyside Advertiser has reported that Wales' first minister Carwyn Jones has introduced a new solar park in the country.

Ms Jones attended the solar park's opening in Pembrokeshire, where a £2.5 million investment in solar panels is offering a better than anticipated supply of green and clean electricity.
