The government is now offering a really big incentive for Britons to add solar power technology to their flue accessories, one company has asserted.
Despite this, many people believe that the coalition's grants are too good to be true, and the industry needs to inform people about the advantages that come with installing solar panels, according to Beech Solar.
Stephen Beech, managing director at Beech Solar, said: "It is just about educating people. It is a really good thing to do and it is a government scheme. The only thing is that you do need the [initial] money; that is the big thing about it."
The government's regulations on energy efficiency will lead to more people looking to enhance their properties, Mr Beech also highlighted.
Earlier this month, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors advised its members about government proposals that will make it impossible to let residential or commercial properties with an EPC rating below E from 2018.
